I’m Jan Jokinen - a composer, producer, and sound designer from Finland with over two decades of experience spanning the diverse landscapes of the music industry.
From my roots as a metal guitarist to my work as a cinematic composer, I’ve developed a versatile, creative, and (mostly) efficient approach to crafting compelling audio.
Truthfully? I’m a student of the craft who just happens to have been at it for over 20 years.
My process is a mix of high-end theory and "what happens if I run this coffee grinder through a distortion pedal?"
My passion lies in genres like suspense, horror, sci-fi, ambient and drama, but I can adapt to almost any need—provided there is enough caffeine involved.
